Percaye x??!! Renungkan lah!

Dikisahkan ada seorang lelaki pergi ke kedai gunting rambut untuk menggunting rambut dan janggutnya. Apabila tukang gunting memulakan tugasnya, mereka pun berbual dan bercakap mengenai banyak perkara. Tetapi apabila mereka mula berbicara mengenai Allah, tukang gunting itu berkata, "Saya tidak percaya Allah itu wujud." Lelaki tadi kehairanan lalu bertanya "Kenapa kamu berkata begitu?" Tanya si lelaki tadi.

Tukang gunting itu pun menjawab, "Cuba kamu keluar ditengah jalan itu dan tunjukkan kepada saya bahawa Allah itu wujud. Jika benar Allah itu wujud, kenapa ramai orang diluar sana sakit? Kenapa masih ramai kanak-kanak yang terbiar? Kalau benar Allah itu wujud, sudah tentu tiada kesakitan dan keperitan hidup di dalam dunia ini. Saya tidak dapat bayangkan Allah yang Maha Penyayang boleh membenarkan semua ini berlaku."

Lelaki itu pun berfikir sejenak. Tetapi dia tidak dapat memberi sebarang jawapan yang terbaik kerana tidak mahu memulakan pertengkaran. Selepas tukang gunting itu selesai menggunting, Lelaki tadi pun beredar. Setelah berjalan beberapa langkah, lelaki tersebut terpandang kepada seorang lelaki berambut panjang, selekeh, kotor dan janggutnya tidak terurus. Lelaki tersebut kemudian berpatah balik dan masuk semula ke kedai gunting rambut tadi dan berkata, "Adakah kamu tahu sebenarnya tukang gunting juga tidak wujud?"

Tukang gunting dengan nada kehairanan bertanya "Mengapa kamu berkata begitu? Sedangkan saya baru sahaja menggunting rambut kamu sebentar tadi."

"Tidak!", kata lelaki tersebut. "Jika tukang gunting wujud, sudah tentu tidak ada orang yang berambut panjang, tidak terurus dan kotor serta mempunyai janggut yang panjang dan kotor seperti lelaki ditepi jalan itu.", Jawab lelaki itu sambil menunjukkan jari ke arah lelaki yang berambut panjang ditepi jalan berhadapan dengan kedai gunting tersebut.

Tukang gunting tersebut pun terus berkata, "Ah! mana mungkin, tukang gunting sememangnya wujud!, Lelaki tesebut menjadi begitu kerana dia tidak datang kepada saya untuk menggunting rambutnya!."

"Tepat sekali kata kamu!", Kata lelaki tadi. "Itulah dia! Allah sememangnya wujud, keperitan dan penderitaan terjadi disebabkan manusia tidak mengingatiNya dan kembali kepadaNya untuk memohon pertolongan."

Marilah kita sama-sama renungkan bersama...

"Hai orang-orang yang beriman, mintalah pertolongan (kepada Allah) dengan sabar dan (mengerjakan) salat, sesungguhnya Allah beserta orang-orang yang sabar." - Al-Baqarah (153)

"Musa berkata kepada kaumnya: 'Mohonlah pertolongan kepada Allah dan bersabarlah; sesungguhnya bumi (ini) kepunyaan Allah; dipusakakan-Nya kepada siapa yang dikehendaki-Nya dari hamba-hamba-Nya. Dan kesudahan yang baik adalah bagi orang-orang yang bertakwa'" - Al-A'raaf (128)

I was walking around in a Big Bazaar store making shopping, when I saw a Cashier talking to a boy couldn't have been more Than 5 or 6 years old. The Cashier said, 'I'm sorry, but you don't have enough money to buy this doll.

Then the little boy turned to me and asked: 'aunty, are you sure I don't have enough money?'

I counted his cash and replied: 'You know that you don't have enough money to buy the doll, my dear.' The little boy was Still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to. 'It's the Doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much. I wanted to Gift her for her BIRTHDAY. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there.' His eyes were so sad while saying this. 'My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.

' My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said: 'I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall.'

Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing.
He then told me 'I want mommy to take my picture with her so my sister won't forget me.'

'I love my mommy and I wish she doesn't have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister... ' Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly. I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. 'Suppose we check again, Just in case you do have enough money for the doll?'

'OK' he said, 'I hope I do have enough..'

I added some of my money to his with out him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money. The little boy said: 'Thank you God for giving me enough money!' Then he looked at me and added, 'I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give It to my sister. He heard me!' 'I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn't dare to ask God for too much.

But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose. My mommy loves white roses.' I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind. Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl.

The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy? Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away... ..

I couldn't stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last wishes before her burial. She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest. I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed for ever. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

Wanita Idaman Lelaki...!!

Wanita idaman lelaki ialah,
yang hatinya disalut taqwa kepada Allah,
yang jiwanya penuh penghayatan terhadap Islam,
yang sentiasa haus dengan ilmu,
yang sentiasa dahaga akan pahala,
yang solatnya maruah dirinya,
yang tidak pernah takut untuk berkata benar,
yang tidak pernah gentar untuk melawan nafsu,
yang sentiasa bersama kumpulan orang orang berjuang di jalan Allah.

yang menjaga tutur katanya,
yang tidak bermegah dengan ilmu yang dimilikinya,
yang sentiasa berbuat kebajikan kerana sifatnya yang penyayang,
yang mempunyai ramai kawan,
yang tidak mempunyai musyang bersifat jembalang.

Wanita idaman lelaki ialah,
wanita yang menghormati ibunya,
yang sentiasa berbakti kepada kedua orang tuanya dan keluarga,
yang bakal menjaga kerukunan rumahtangga,
yang akan mendidik suami dan anak-anak mendalami islam,
yang mengamalkan hidup penuh sederhana,
kerana dunia baginya adalah rumah sementara menuju akhirat.

Wanita idaman lelaki ialah,
yang sentiasa bersedia untuk menjadi insan,
yang hidup dibawah naungan al quran dan mencontohi sahabiyyat,
yang boleh diajak berbincang dan berbicara,
yang menjaga matanya dari berbelanja,
yang sujudnya penuh kesyukuran dengan rahmat Allah keatasnya.

Wanita idaman lelaki ialah,
tidak pernah membazirkan masa,
matanya kepenatan kerana penat membaca,
suaranya lesu kerana penat mengaji dan berzikir,
tidurnya lena dengan cahaya keimanan,
bangunnya subuh penuh kecergasan,
kerana sehari lagi usianya bertambah penuh kematangan.

Wanita idaman lelaki ialah,
yang sentiasa mengingati mati,
yang baginya hidup di dunia adalah ladang akhirat,
yang mana buah kehidupan itu perlu dibaja dan dijaga,
agar berputik tunas yang bakal menjadi baka yang baik,
meneruskan perjuangan Islam sebelum hari kemudian.

Wanita idaman lelaki ialah,
yang tidak terpesona dengan buaian dunia,
kerana dia mengimpikan syurga,
di situlah rumah idamannya,
dialah WANITA IDAMAN LELAKI.

Penemuan Pelik

woahhh aku terjmpe artikel neyh...!! agak menarik gak ar... sbb dier terangkan mane tempat2 di kuantan dpt name hahaha and BUkit Stone Cold ader plak tuh hahaha!!


Asal-usul nama beberapa tempat di Kuantan, diperolehi melalui cerita-cerita lisan orang-orang tua.

TELUK SISEK
Kawasan ini asalnya adalah sebuah teluk. Berhampiran dengannya terdapat sebuah bukit yang menganjur ke teluk. Di kawasan kaki bukit inilah selalunya "penyu-penyu sisek" mendarat untuk bertelur. Zaman beredar dan melalui proses pembentukan muka-bumi, teluk kini bertukar menjadi paya. Kawasan ini kemudiannya diteroka dan dibangunkan. Namanya diilhamkan dari peristiwa yang dikaitkan dengan "teluk" dan "sisek". Sehingga kini masih terdapat kulit-kulit siput lama di sekitar tasik di belakang kediaman YAB Menteri Besar sebagai bukti bahawa tempat ini dahulunya adalah sebuah teluk.

KAMPUNG JAWA
Semasa Estet Batu Talam dibuka untuk tanaman getah, ramai orang-orang Jawa telah bekerja sebagai penoreh getah. Mereka telah membuat penempatan berhampiran Kampung Tengah. Hasilnya kawasan ini akhirnya dikenali sebagai Kampung Jawa.

BUKIT SETONGKOL
Kedudukan bukit ini agak ganjil kerana ianya hanya setongkol sahaja jika dibandingkan dengan bukit-bukit yang lain di persekitarannya. Bersesuaian dengan keadaan fizikalnya ini, kawasan ini dinamakan Bukit Setongkol.

BUKIT UBI
Sebelum dijadikan kawasan pecah batu, bukit ini telah dijadikan kawasan penanaman ubi kayu oleh penduduk-penduduk tempatan. Makan kekallah namanya Bukit Ubi.

PADANG LALANG
Kawasan ini dahulunya adalah sebuah padang yang dipenuhi dengan lalang.

TANJUNG LUMPUR
Tanjung yang menghala ke laut ini telah diliputi oleh mandapan lumpur yang banyak. Sejak dari itu, tanjung ini dikenali sebagai Tanjung Lumpur.

GAMBANG
Di sini, suatu ketika dahulu terkenal dengan permainan gambang (cak lempung) di kalangan masyarakatnya. Oleh yang demikian tempat ini terus dinamakan Gambang.

ALUR AKAR
Di kawasan ini dahulunya beralur dan ditumbuhi pula dengan pokok-pokok hutan tua berakar besar dan berlingkar-lingkar. Keunikan keadaan kawasan ini langsung membawa kepada namanya sekarang.

PERAMU
Tukang-tukang rumah bertumpu ke tempat ini untuk mencari bahan-bahan membuat rumah yang terdiri daripada kayu-kayu hutan. Istilah mencari bahan-bahan ini dikenali sebagai "meramu" dan akhirnya menjadi Peramu hingga sekarang.

BESERAH
Setelah kematian anaknya iaitu Cik Timah, Haji Senik (penduduk asal Kuantan) telah membuat keputusan meninggalkan Kampung Teruntum yang banyak meninggalkan kisah-kisah sedih. Beliau kemudiannya berpindah ke sebuah kawasan di utara Teruntum. Setelah membuat sebuah penempatan baru, kawasan ini pula diserang sejenis penyakit yang dikenali sebagai "hawar". Semua penduduk di kawasan ini bercadang untuk berpindah ke tempat lain tetapi Hj. Senik meminta mereka bersabar dan berserah kepada Allah SWT. Kerana sikap mesyarakatnya sentiasa bertaqwa dan berserah kepada Allah SWT, maka tempat ini dipanggil "Beserah" sehingga sekarang.

Fly Quiet: Please Use Noise Abatement Procedures

As my plane was pulling onto the runway for takeoff, I noticed a sign that instructed the pilots to implement a procedure that would reduce the amount of noise that the plane makes when taking off. This program is designed to lessen the deafening effects that airport noise has upon the residents of neighborhoods near the airport.

As I thought about the meaning and impact that this instruction held for the pilot, I equated the airplane noise with the inner noise in my mind. There are times when the inner dialog is somewhat negative and distracting. It can be so annoying that I wish I had an instant turn-off switch.

You have probably experienced this same feeling when you think about the many demands in your life that it is difficult to shut off the distracting thoughts. It seems that night-time is when the noisy chatter of the mind can be deafening.

How do we quiet the mind? What noise abatement procedures can we use to fly quiet and give our minds a rest? I think that it starts with recognizing that we have an inner noisy chatterbox, which we can control. It also requires understanding some of quieting techniques such as meditation, self-hypnosis, being out of doors and allowing it to calm our minds.

Being near water has a soothing effect for me, as does sitting out of doors underneath a tree and closing my eyes. It is amazing what we can smell and hear; the perfume and symphony that Mother Nature offers us can bring us back into balance and harmony.

What in your life needs quieting? Is there a certain thought that seems to dominate your life? Do you wish to abate the noise and static in the mind and to regain control over the negative message that is played over and over again?

Take a moment, listen to the message, understand what the message is about and then when it begins again, think or say, "Stop!" Once you have gotten the mind's attention, change your focus to a more productive thought process. Just as pilots of plane need to be reminded to abate the noise, so must we, as pilots of our minds, take action to "fly quiet."

Create a deck of “Happy Cards”
This may seem silly, but who cares? Happy thoughts come to those who can tap into the child within. Buy a pack of plain index cards and some pretty magic markers and write individual sayings, jokes and quotes that make you laugh and bring sunshine to your life and to others. Keep them in a special box, or a decorated coffee can, and reach in any time you need a laugh. Offer them to friends, like brownies, when they come to visit. Even if they laugh at you for having “Happy Cards” in a coffee can it is worth the effort.

Laugh Like Crazy
If you are with a small group of friends who are not feeling too peppy, or just one bummed out buddy or Debbie Downer type, and you want to break the bad mood…start laughing. This is not something you would NOT do at a funeral, obviously, but in a non-emotionally charged situation where the room, and people in it, need a new burst of energy and sunshine. Break out in laughter. Start slowly with a straight face, so they don’t even know what you are up you. Then formulate a smile…then turn it into a chuckle…then build into a contagiously happy laugh. They will think you are insane at first, until they can resist no more…the laughter will sneak up on them and out of them. Just keep laughing like crazy, and see if one person can resist the allure of that wild laughter. It will fill the room with a burst of laugher and sunshine!

Take Humor Risks
When you are stuck in your own thoughts, do something just a little wild to get out of it. And do the same thing to help a friend who needs a good laugh. The Greek Goddess Baubo once lifted her skirt and exposed her privates in order to get the heartbroken Demeter to smile again and bring the sun and flowers back to the earth. What can you do to top that?

Start a Good Mood Virus
Take the lead in spreading good cheer. When we allow ourselves to feel good and filled with joy, we radiate it. Just as our bad moods can be contagious, our good moods can pave the way for many miles of smiles. If we smile, people smile back; if we laugh, they chuckle too!

Keep Smiling
Every time the sun fades lift the sides of your mouth into a smile. Remember—you cannot be depressed when you are smiling.
